Benjamin van Rooij back at UvA

Prof. B. van Rooij has returned to The Netherlands and UvA. He has been appointed Professor of Law and Society at UvA's Law School.

In 2013, Prof. Benjamin van Rooij accepted a position as John S. and Marilyn Long Professor of U.S.–China Business and Law, and as Academic Director of the The Long U.S.–China Institute for Business and Law at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), School of Law.

Whilst performing his work at UCI in California, Prof. van Rooij always continued to work for UvA as well. He remained in close touch with all NCLC researchers and continued as either their first or second supervisor or as their external research adviser. 

Now in 2018, Prof. B. van Rooij has returned to The Netherlands and UvA. He is excited to have been appointed UvA's new Professor of Law and Society.
