For Turkish legal literature, such a study in the area of immigration law was quite innovative due to the political turmoil that occurred in the Middle East in recent years. It was deemed worthy of an honorable mention within the scope of Child Rights Studies Graduate Thesis Awards in partnership with Raoul Wallenberg Institute, Lund University and Özyeğin University Faculty of Law Interdisciplinary Child Rights Laboratory. Her research has been published as a book in Turkey.
During her stay at ACELG, she will study the protection of the best interests of migrant children under EU law.
