Registering research output: Pure

As a researcher your aim is to make your output transparent, so that it can become known to funders and a large public. In Pure you can register your research and - if possible and so desired - also publish it in open access.

Pure allows the faculties to present the research in a systematic and uniform way to the outside world. Pure is a tool for research management and policy, and can be used for reports. Pure is provided and managed by the Library.

UvA-DARE

Pure is linked to UvA-DARE, the Digital Academic Repository of the University of Amsterdam, so that the results registered in Pure by the institutes and approved by the University Library are made visible in UvA-DARE. This enhances their visibility, for publications in UvA-DARE are found by search engines (Google and Google Scholar) and in higher level repositories (BASE).
