Annually a young researcher is awarded with a prize for the best publication of the Amsterdam Law School. The goal of the prize is to strengthen the research culture within the law school and to give young researchers publicity for their work. The prize consists of an amount of € 1000,- which can be used for research-related activities.

Submitted publications will assed by a jury on the following criteria:

1. scientific originality;
2. thoroughness;
3. cross-border nature.

Submissions can be send to email address arils-fdr@uva.nl. Please provide the following information:

• a digital copy of the publication, with the bibliographic details e.g. publication date;
• if applicable: date of receiving your doctorate and a motivation for the use of the extension clause;
• if applicable: provide relevant information about the co-authors on the publication.
